Mountain Skiing
Sugar Mountain Resort features 125 acres of skiable terrain. The 21 slopes are serviced by 1 High Speed, Detachable Six Passenger Chairlift, 4 Fixed Grip Double Chairlifts, 1 Fixed Grip Triple Chairlift, 1 Handle Tow (Terrain Park), 2 Magic Carpets (1 – beginner area, 1 – Tubing).
Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain State Park is 14,000 acres of natural beauty. Waterfalls, mountain streams, 17 miles of trout waters, 21 miles of pristine hiking trails and of course a 600 foot tall dome of granite are what awaits the visitor to the park.
Oakwood's Golf Course
The 18-hole "Oakwoods" course at the Oakwoods Country Club facility in Wilkesboro, North Carolina features 6,337 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . Designed by Tom Jackson, Kris Spence, the Oakwoods golf course opened in 1954.
Dark Mountain Biking
